UCLan’s Institute of Nanotechnology and Bioengineering conducts research into areas at the interfaces of biological, chemical and physical sciences, exploiting the advantage of nanoscale structures and materials.

Our research focuses on emerging nanotechnologies that impact and has applications in medicine and engineering, to improve people’s lives and the environment in which we live.
